Physician · Leader · Builder

DOUG MAYEUX, md

Emergency physician, Facility Medical Director, and healthcare innovator — building tools, training leaders, and reimagining what's possible at the edge of medicine and technology.

Who I Am

Physician. Executive. Builder.

Before medical school, served as a weather forecaster in the United States Air Force — a foundation in discipline, systems thinking, and performing under pressure that still shapes how he practices and leads today.

Now a Facility Medical Director at Castleview Hospital in Price, Utah and Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko, Nevada. Clinical work grounded in the belief that quality emergency care shouldn't be tied to geography.

Works at the intersection of healthcare operations, AI innovation, and physician leadership. Through Mayeux MD Inc., brings strategic advisory capacity to systems navigating complexity.

Founded CELI — the Clinician's Edge Leadership Institute — to give clinicians the business and leadership education the medical system never provided.

Let's Connect

Whether you're a clinician interested in CELI, a health system exploring AI-assisted operations, or a fellow builder — I'm open to conversations that push medicine forward.

“The best physicians I know aren't just clinicians — they're systems thinkers who refuse to accept that things can't be better.”
